What an incredibly special time it was growing up with Bart and his wisdom and kindness. Even after we loaded our muddy bikes into his brand new SW van after the muddiest motocross race in history and the mud fight that ensued among us kids, all he could do was laugh. What a great temperament and sense of humor. Forever in our thoughts.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was always so good to us for many years while at Sherwin Williams. We painted and wallpapered many rooms with his advice. We even had a wallpapering tool we called "Bart's tool". I am sure all of you will miss him. Thoughts are with everyone. Love, Liz

The last time I saw Barton was a couple years ago when our aunt Margie was in for a visit. I am a first cousin of Barton and I remember playing together as kids even though we live in St. Louis and only came to Washington in the summer. Those were wonderful years to be a kid and not worry about all the world troubles. Barton will be in our prayers and may he enjoy eternal life in the hands of the Lord. Cousin Ron

Grant, I never had the privilege of knowing your father. I look forward to meeting him in heaven. Please know that death can never take away the memories each of you have of your father. Many of you may have experienced the same event with him, but the way YOU remember that event is unique to you. No one else remembers the event the way you do. That is God's very special gift for each of you. Cherish those memories. We in Uvalde are praying for you.
