Obituary of Leland G. Webb

Oolitic Leland G. Webb, 81, of 604 Hoosier Ave., Oolitic, died at 11:04 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born January 30, 1924, he was the son of Stanley and Francis (Parker) Webb. He married Blanche Delpha on May 15, 1987 and she survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WW II. Survivors include his wife, Blanche, of Oolitic; two sons, Steven and Robert (Bob) Webb both of Bedford; one brother, Chester Carl Webb of Law. Co.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Judy Douglas; five brothers, Earl, Everett, Cecil, Opal and George Webb; two sisters, Violet Coyle and Edith Hackney. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 7th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Jeff Nikirk officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 6th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
