Hey dad...it has been a while since you passed and I miss you dearly...I love you and think of you almost every single day...It has been hard without you. I don't know who of the family checks this or if its just me but I thought leaving this candle would help with my depression. I know you want me happy. I know you want me to be strong, but it gets harder everyday. I love you. You meant the world to me. I often think of what my world would be had I not lost you. I know people have said and fought about things you may have done or didn't do, but I still remember what you were to me when I lost you. You were my hero. I wanted nothing more than to see you every day even if your job didn't allow it. I appreciate everything you ever did for me. I wish I could go back at times I do, but it can't work like that. I just want you to know I try my hardest for you. I don't want to give up and I try not to cry over you to much because I know you wouldn't want me to. I would do anything to see you again. To hear your voice again. It has been 9 years and so much has changed. I just hope you can appreciate what I am today and be proud of me. It is why I try so hard and don't give up. I hope I have not let you down. I love you dad.
