Breaking of Dawn
I know where you are, I know where you've gone. When you took that last breath, With the breaking of dawn.
The veil so gently parted, As you glided from bed to vapor; Receiving the lovely welcome, Released from the pain to savor.
A new place to behold, A new place once beheld; Into the arms of loved ones, Into the Spirit each meld.
From Becoming what we were, To Becoming what will be; The Journey takes a lifetime, Short or long, not ours to see.
As we know those who left us, And those not lost from the bond. We will be there with you again, With the breaking of our Dawn.
