Obituary of Yvonne Betty Marie Webb

Bedford Yvonne Betty Marie Webb, 81, went home to be with the Lord at 10:40 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born June 23, 1925 in Aldershot, England, she was the daughter of Frederick Stephen and Maria Almalia (Schmit) Hamman. She married Gordon Baker Webb on March 3, 1945 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Johns Episcopal Church for over sixty years. Surviving with her husband, Gordon is one daughter, Penny Sowders and her husband, Lovell Sowders, Jr. of Bedford; one son, Brian Webb and his wife, Jill of Mitchell; grandchildren, Michelle Zenow and her husband, Keith, Gretchen Gebhard and her husband, Terry of Indianapolis, Kyle Smith and his wife, Amy of Bedford, Chad Smith and his wife, Missy of Greenwood and Jeanna Small and her husband, Corey of Indianapolis; great grandchildren, Hannah Smith, Cameron Smith, Dylan Smith, Zachary Haltom and Nicholas Haltom. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sylvia Hamman Lee. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Father Charles Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Silverville, IN. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 5th and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Pallbearers are Lovell Sowders, Jr., Terry Gebhard, Keith Zenow, Chuck Kopp, Richard Cameron and Steve Sons.
