Obituary of Lois M. Watson

Harrodsburg Lois M. Watson, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 6, 2008. Lois was a loving and giving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend. Born November 21, 1925, in Harrodsburg, IN, she was the daughter of Claude and Clyde (Smith) McGlothlin. She married Harold Gene Watson on January 4, 1946 and he died April 23, 2000. She retired from the Monroe County School System and was currently employed at Lakeview Elementary School. Lois was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Springville and was active in the Harrodsburg Heritage Days celebration. Survivors include one daughter, Kim Crider and her husband, John of Solsberry, IN; three sons, Rick Watson and his wife, Katheryn, Mark Watson and his wife, Gail all of Harrodsburg, IN and John Watson and his wife, Debra of Springville; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren and one sister, Florence Hartman of Bloomington, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Eugene and Bryce McGlothlin; six sisters, Alma Fodrill, Mary May, Ruby Clay, Martha Dodds, Virginia Rinnart and Treva McGlothlin. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, IN, with Pastor Rick Bolton, Brent Cramer and J.D. Sink officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, IN.
