Obituary of Robert L. Watson

Bedford Robert L. Bob Watson, 65, of 525 W Street, Bedford, died Friday, September 12, 2008 at his residence. Born April 14, 1943 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Lewis Sammy Watson, Sr. and Mable Catherine (Gassaway) Watson. He had worked in several area quarries and had done farm work. Bob had been involved in mineral processing with General Motors. Survivors include two brothers, Eugene Charles Watson of East Oolitic and Russell Dean Watson of Bedford; two daughters, Vontella Gyger of Bloomington and Jody Watson of Bedford; one son, Sam Watson of Bedford; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lewis (Horseshoe) Jr., John and Daniel Wayne, one sister, Glenda Watson Mason. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Jay Bennett officiating.
