Obituary of Mary Etta Waller

Bedford Mary Etta Waller, 84, of Bedford, died at 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at the Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born April 29, 1920 in Hart County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Elmo and Loney (Wilcox) Brown. She married Chester L. Waller on May 12, 1956 and he died on March 17, 1985. She was a retired dayworker and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Bedford. Survivors include one daughter, Joan E. Waller of Bedford; two sisters, Mattie Thornton of Bedford and Alberta Rice of Cambellsville, KY; one brother, George T. Brown of Bedford and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Willie R. and William Wilford Brown; two sisters, Edna Brashear and Velma Lou Brown (in infancy). Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 2nd at the Second Baptist Church in Bedford with Rev. Donald Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Thursday at the Second Baptist Church. Pallbearers are: Leonard Thornton, Ricky Brown, Edward Brown, Bill Lloyd, Tommy Brashear, Gilbert Thornton and Johnny Brashear.
