Obituary of Eva Lois Waldron
Bedford Lois Waldron, 91, of 1370 State Road 135 N., Nashville, IN, formerly of Bedford, died at 8:07 am on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, TX.
Born November 19, 1917 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Peter Thomas and Mamie Lucille (Gobat) Anderson. She married Merle Waldron on September 14, 1936 and he died January 5, 1985. She had been employed with as church secretary for the Epworth Methodist Church in Savannah, GA, the State Department of Social Services in Charlotte, NC and in the Economics Department at Indiana University. She was currently employed as a staff member with the Parents Day Out Program at the Nashville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Waldron and wife, Peggy of Nashville, IN; a daughter, Kay Goldberg and husband, Louis J. Goldberg, II of Dallas, TX; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Edith Anderson of Oolitic; a sister-in-law, Hagar Anderson of St. Louis, MO; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Bobby Lane Waldron; a brother, Charles Anderson; two sisters, Ilene Worman and Louise Morrow who was her twin. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, June 26th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
