Obituary of Harold Wade

Bedford-Harold Wade, 67, of 2328 29th Street; Bedford, passed away at 2:05 A.M., Monday, May 7th at his residence. Born on January 22, 1940 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Everett E. and Sophia Wade. He was a body man for Sipes Body Shop in Bedford. He married Geraldine Joyce Mitchell in July of 1959 and she preceded him in death. Surviving is one daughter: Donna Phillips of Oolitic, IN; six grandchildren: Andrea Phillips, Carl Leonard, Justin Mills, Rebecca Wallenberg, Richard Kyle Wade, Josh Dean Phillips; seven great grandchildren: Lillian Wade, Anna Phillips, Shana Phillips, Devin Phillips, Gage Leonard, Jaden Leonard and Ava Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two daughters: Rhonda Wade, Joyce Jones and one great grandchild: Haden Leonard. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Friday, May 11th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Leatherwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
