Obituary of Lillian Vicars
Bedford Lillian Tudie Vicars, 92, of Bedford, formerly of Indianapolis, died at 11:45 pm on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Westview Manor Health Care Center.
Born December 31, 1912 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Robert and Agnes (Tremp) Peterman. She married Frank North and he preceded her in death She retired as a medical secretary and was a American Red Cross Volunteer. She was a member of the St. Johns Episcopal Church in Bedford.
Survivors include one daughter, Anne Hunter of Worthington, OH; one step-son, Robert Vicars of Indianapolis; one sister, Idah Short of Bloomington; two nephews, William Short and Michael Short both of Bedford; one niece, Marjory Starnes of Bedford; several great nieces and nephews; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 3rd at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis with Father Charlie Carpenter officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2nd and from 9:00 am until 10:30 am on Thursday, March 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
