Obituary of Mary Lou Turner
Bedford-Mary Lou Turner, 80, a resident of Westview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center formerly a resident of the Cambridge Square Apartments, died at 11:44 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2007.
Born June 18, 1926 she was the daughter of John E. and Mildred (Howe) Sears. She married Richard W. Turner on January 15, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1975. She retired from RCA in Bloomington after more than 30 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford, a fifty year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the RCA retirees group.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Snow and her husband Keenan of Bedford;one sister-in-law, Betty Sears Beren; two step grandsons, Keenan Snow II and his wife Carolyn of Mitchell, and Nathan Snow of Bloomington; five step great grandchildren, Zachary and Landon Anderson of Mitchell, Jordan Snow of Bedford, Emily, Gracie, and Dawson Snow all of Mitchell; and several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, and one brother, John Thomas (Tommy) Sears. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Raymond Brinegar officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
