Obituary of Christopher D. Tuell

Mitchell Christopher D. Tuell, 62, of Mitchell, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born March 31, 1946 in Bedford, he was the son of John William and Dorothy (Dalton) Tuell. He married Jill Scott on August 12, 1966. He worked at RCA for over thirty years and was a member of the Bartlettsville Christian Church and Heltonville Christian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam Era and enjoyed old cars, and spending time with and spoiling his grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Jill of Mitchell; two daughters, Dana Passmore and her husband, Chuck, and Kristine Tuell; one son, John Tuell all of Mitchell; grandchildren, Jordan Triplett, Ava Smith, Krista, Chevelle and Kayla Tuell, Christian Wykoff, Ethan and Owen Tuell; one brother, Ben Tuell and his wife, Ruby of Bedford; two sisters, Peggy Baldwin of Mitchell and Sue Ann Shake and her husband, Ted of Warren, IN; a sister-in-law, LaDonna Tuell of Warren, IN; mother-in-law, Freedonia Scott of Heltonville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Joshua Eric Tuell; two brothers, John David Tuell and Walter Alvin Tuell (in infancy). Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 20th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
