Obituary of Charles W. Trisler

Oolitic Charles W. (Bill) Trisler, 69, of Oolitic, died at 6:20 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Garden Villa in Bloomington. Born October 6, 1943 in Hammond, IN, he was the son of Winfred and Twylah (Jackson) Trisler. He was a graduate of Oolitic High School with the class of 1961. He was a member of the Oolitic Kiwanis Club and attended Dive Christian Church. He was the owner of Bills Barber Shop in Oolitic for thirty-one years. Survivors include two sons, Kevin Trisler and wife, Erin of Indianapolis and Jared Trisler and wife, Sarah of Bloomington; grandchildren, Grant, Georgia, Nolan and Addison Trisler; a sister, Marilyn Blackburn of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jon Trisler. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, September 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
