Obituary of Margarete Thompson

Bedford Margarete Thompson, 78, of 8010 U.S. Hwy 50 W., Mitchell, IN, died at 6:15 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Westview Manor Nursing and Rehab. in Bedford. Born August 7, 1929 in Lampertheim, Germany, she was the daughter of Johannes and Elizabeth (Gabmann) Lenhardt. She married Larry D. Thompson on December 4, 1971 and he survives. She was a homemaker and enjoyed flea markets and yard sales. Survivors include her husband, Larry of Mitchell; one daughter, Monika M. Smith of Daleville, AL; one son, Hans Braun and his wife, Maria of Bedford; two grandsons, Eddie Johnson and his wife, Lisa of Madison, GA, Hans A. Braun, Jr. and his wife, Terri Jo of Bedford; four granddaughters, Patricia DeLoach of Marianna, FL, Tina Snellgrove and her husband, Scott of Anniston, AL, Nikki Ford of Anniston, AL, Angela Ramsey and her husband, Randy of Bedford; thirteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, three brothers and one great grandson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, April 11th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, April 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
