Obituary of Treva J. Thomas

OwensburgTreva J. Thomas, 82 of Owensburg, died 9:30 A.M. Saturday, July 1, 2006 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born December 31, 1923 in Owensburg, IN she was the daughter of Ray and Juanita (Smith) Cobb both of whom have preceded her in death. She married W. L. (Tuffy) Thomas on November 5, 1941 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2001. Mrs. Thomas was owner of W. L. Thomas, Inc. of Owensburg, IN which was founded with her husband in 1960. She was a member of Owensburg Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Derenda Thomas Todd of Bedford, IN; one son, Myron L. Thomas and his wife, Faye of Owensburg; five grandchildren, Gregg Todd and his wife, Pamela; Mike Todd; Deann Todd Perry; Steven L. Thomas and his wife Allison; Lora Thomas and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted for family and friends at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 5th at the Owensburg Cemetery in Owensburg. There will be no visitation as the family will gather for private time at Day & Carter Mortuary.
