Obituary of Walter E. Terry

New Salisbury, IN Walter E. Terry, 67, of 9960 Oak St., New Salisbury, IN, formerly of Bedford, died at 1:45 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2004 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born March 31, 1937 in Mitchell, he was the son of Harold and Gladys (Blanton) Terry. He married Vickie Alexander on December 15, 1975 and she survives. He retired from Carbide Graphite Group of Louisville, KY and was employed by C/Jams Trucking in Sellersburg, IN. He was of the protestant faith. Surviving with his wife, Vickie are two daughters, Lorri Ann Terry of Bloomington and Debbie Richmer of Lanesville; three step-daughters, Cindy Hauke of Fredrick, CO, Mandy Yarbrough of Corydon, IN and Julie Barger; one sister, Velva Hutton of Bedford; two grandchildren; three step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold Terry. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
