Obituary of Lois Evelyn Terrell

Bedford Lois Evelyn (Pearson) Terrell, 85, of Bedford, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Greenwood Village South. Born January 27, 1924 in Greene Co., IN she was the daughter of Harvey Franklin and Delta (Turpen) Pearson. She married Eldon Lafferty and he preceded her in death in 1950. She later married Houston Lee Graves and he died in 1963. She then married Curtis Hale Terrell in 1966 and he died May 18, 1999. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and the Indiana Central Business College. She retired from NWSC CRANE and was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church. Survivors include three sons, Larry Lafferty and his wife, Judy (Hershey) of Bedford, Stanley Lafferty and his wife, Glenda (Robertson) of Paducah, KY and Jack Graves and his wife, Bobbi (Spicer) of Greenwood, IN; two step-children, Elaine Graves Pearson and her husband, David of Cloverdale, IN, Norma Graves (Wehrman) and her husband, Bill of Valparaiso, IL; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, three brothers, Ray, Wayne and Franklin Pearson; two sisters, Vivian Lawrence and Lillian Pearson and one step-son, William Lafferty. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, March 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 5th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
