Obituary of Robert F. Hudson

Robert F. Hudson, 74, of 2108 G Street, Bedford, passed away at 2:51 P.M. on Friday, June 13th at Bloomington Hospital. Born on April 6, 1929, he was the son of Daniel Hudson and Eva (Umpress) Hudson. He retired from Crane in 1979. An Army Veteran of the Korean War he was also a member of the American Legion Gillen Post #33. He married Barbara E. Fleetwood on July 5, 1956 and survives. Also surviving are five sons: Robert F. Hudson Jr. of Bedford; Timothy Allan Hudson of Hollywood, S. Carolina; Mark Douglas Hudson of Blaine, TN; John David Hudson of Greensboro, NC and Steven Paul Hudson of Bedford; one daughter: Jennifer Kay McGill of Bedford; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; three brothers: Edwin; Gary Dean; and Herschel Hudson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister: Barbara Jane Wheeler; two brothers: Myron and Marvin Hudson. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, June 16th at the Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville with Pastor Jim Stevens officiating. Military rites will be accorded at the grave by American Legion Gillen Post #33. There will be no public visitation at Day & Carter Mortuary.
