Obituary of Thomas E. Sullivan

Bedford-Thomas E. Sullivan 64, of 3615 River Bluff Road Bedford died at 11:45 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born October 13, 1944 he was the son of William and Josie (Melvin) Sullivan. He married Patricia Tirey on April 23, 1976 and she survives. He was a 1963 graduate of Heltonville High School. He was a truck driver for various construction companies. He was a member of the National Guard, Bedford Boat and Sportsmans Club, and the American Legion Gillen Post #33 in Bedford. Survivors include his wife Patricia of Bedford; four children: Scott Sullivan and his wife Missy of Bedford, J.J. Pruett and Brian Norris of Bedford, T. Patrick Sullivan of Indianapolis, and Luke Sullivan of Bedford; eight grandchildren: Adam Godsey, Ashlyn Godsey, Ethan Sullivan, Jessica Pruett, Kenzie Pruett, Danielle Pruett, Ezra Sullivan, Elijah Sullivan; three great grandchildren: Cain Godsey, Colby Godsey, and Maddison Godsey; two brothers: Joe Sullivan and his wife Anna and Billy Dean Sullivan and his wife Rita; eight sisters: Mary DeArmond of Bedford, Carol Manual , Helen Good of Bedford, Ruth Ann Cain of Solsberry, Lois Ritter of Bedford, Rhea Dawn Hayes and her husband John of Bedford, Marilyn Sullivan of Bedford, and Shirley Courter of Bedford; sister in law Carole and Clinton Tirey, and his mother in law Mildred Tirey. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Orville B., and John Sullivan, and his father in law Alvy Tirey. Funeral Information A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 15th at the Red Brick at Otis Park in Bedford with Don Tirey officiating.
