Obituary of Ovalean Strunk

OoliticOvalean Strunk, 77, of 1121 Lafayette Street, Oolitic, IN passed away at 5:25 P.M. Sunday, April 20th at her residence. Born on January 19, 1926 in Springfield, IL she was the daughter of Arthur N. Grubbs and Mattie Elizabeth (Turpin). She Married Leonard F. Strunk on June 21, 1946 and he died January 5, 1993. She retired in 1987 from RCA in Bloomington, IN. She was of Baptist Faith. Surviving are two sons: Leonard Russell Strunk of Bedford, IN and Michael Nolan Strunk of Greene County, IN; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Peona Grubbs and William Arthur Grubbs and two sisters: Leverda Valentour and Virginia Grubbs. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 23rd from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 22nd from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Day & Carter Mortuary
