Obituary of Allicia D. Hughes Benton

Owensburg Allicia D. Hughes Benton, 33, of Owensburg, IN, died at 9:35 am on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at her residence. Born December 25, 1971 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Jerry C. and Mary E. (Vincent) Hughes. She married Wayne Benton and he survives. She was employed in the health care industry and was a member of the Harvest Community Church of Bloomfield. Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Owensburg; two children, Shawnda Bays and Devin Bays both of Owensburg; her mother, Mary E. Hughes of Owensburg; her step-mother, Mary Lee Hughes of Bedford; sisters and brothers, Denise Settles and her husband, Tom of Bloomfield and Tammy Woodall and her husband, Bryan of Switz City; Jerry Will Hughes of Bedford, Eric Hughes and his wife, Brandi of Bedford, Ronnie Hughes and his wife, Lisa of Owensburg, Sean Hughes and his wife, Mindy of Bedford, Krista Pemberton and her husband, Nathan of Mitchell, Kelli Hughes of Bedford, Jason Hughes of Owensburg (currently serving with the U.S. Army and stationed in Baghdad Iraq) and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Josephine and Cecil Hughes and Nay and Glenna Vincent; two nephews, Evan and Taron Hughes. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 7th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating.
