Obituary of Adrian D. Stewart

Bedford Adrian D. Stewart, 66, of 2701 S. Leatherwood Road, Bedford, died at 7:10 pm on Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born November 7, 1940 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Marvin Ray and Olive (Rosemond Yeats) Stewart. He married Sandra C. Thomas in February 1962. He was a maintenance worker for the Indiana Department of Transportation retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Oolitic Baptist Church and the American Rabbit Breeders Assoc. His special hobby was raising rabbits and he loved the out of doors, fishing, hunting and camping. Survivors include two sons, Robert D. Stewart and his wife, Jerri and Troy Lee Stewart all of Bedford; one daughter, Carolyn D. Eisele and her husband, Jim of Bedford; two brothers, Lowell L. Stewart of Georgia and Larry Stewart of Philadelphia, PA; one sister-in-law, Norma Rae Stewart of Bargersville, IN; four grandchildren, Matthew K. Stewart, Candice D. Eisele, Michael J. Stewart and Rebecca D. Eisele; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wesley Sam Stewart. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 16th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Danny Goens officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
