Obituary of Jeffrey T. Stewart

Bedford Jeffrey T. Stewart, 49, of 2000 Old State Road 37 N., Bedford, died at 11:10 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born June 30, 1959 in Bedford, he was the son of Larry and Judith (Judah) Stewart. Jeff was a graduate of the Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1977. He was a heavy equipment operator for Crider & Crider of Bloomington. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #841 and the Gulletts Creek Baptist Church Survivors include three daughters, Kristen Green of Jeffersonville, IN, Hannah Simcoe and her husband, Dennis of Seymour, IN and Ashley Crenshaw of Louisville, KY; two granddaughters, Kelsey Green and Emma Simcoe; his mother, Judith, of Bedford; his maternal grandmother, Mary Judah of Bedford; one brother, Bradley Stewart of Bedford; one sister, Linda Short and her husband, Brad; a nephew, Adam Short; a niece, Aliza Short. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 31st from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Lewis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 9:00 am to service hour, January 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
