Obituary of Geraldine Jean Howell

Bedford Geraldine Jean (Bough) Howell, 77, of 3990 Dixie Hwy., Bedford, died at 9:20 am on February 22, 2004 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born September 30, 1926 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Marvin and Elsie Bough. She married Charles Howell, Jr. on June 27, 1946 and he died August 17, 1996. She retired from General Motors and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Becky Davis and her husband, Kerry of Mitchell; one grandson, Jim Davis and his wife, Kelly with whom she lived; two great grandsons, Brett and Drew Davis; one step granddaughter, Trisha Holmes of Plainfield; two step great grandchildren, Caroline and Clayton; two brothers, Melvin Bough of Ft. Myers, FL and Merle Bough of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Gordon Bough. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 25th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Joann Kluender officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February, 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
