Obituary of Nina Mae Stannard

Indianapolis Nina Mae (Stigall) Stannard, 89, of 8323 Lake Tree Lane, Indianapolis went to heaven to take care of Gods Garden on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at her residence. Born April 2, 1921 in Sumerset, KY, she was the daughter of George W. and Lilly Patton. She married Frank B. Stannard and he preceded her in death. She was employed at RCA in Bloomington, IN where she retired. She was a loving mother to Clinton D. Stannard of Orange, CA, Peggy J. Vandal of Indianapolis, IN, Connie Sue Dulik of Franklin, IN Janice Kay Barkat, Indianapolis, IN and Marcia Joan Gentry of Martinsville, IN, loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren, great grandmother to 39 great grandchildren and great great grandmother to five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, Theodore, Hobart, Oakley, Delbert and Oatis, two sisters, Winnie and Vina. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 21, 2011 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with David Vandal officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service on Monday at the mortuary.
