Obituary of Mary Frances Sproles

Stilesville - Mary Frances Sproles, 81, of Stilesville, formerly of Oolitic, died on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her residence. Born July 7, 1929 in Harrodsburg, IN, she was the daughter of Sam and Bertha (Harvey) Rains. She married Sam Sproles on January 13, 1947 and he died April 22, 1995. She was a homemaker and attended Hazelwood Christian Church. Survivors include; three daughters, Sheila Wagers and husband, Ron of London, KY, Debra Sproles of Stilesville, Rita Reitzel and husband Garret of Stilesville, two grandchildren; Pam Wagers Carroll and husband Eric, Todd Wagers and wife Julie, one great granddaughter, Allyson Carroll, one brother, Frank Rains of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters; Josephine Johnson and Virginia Wray, four brothers; Dewey, Wm. Arvin, James Clayton and Boyce Rains. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Steve Ranson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service on Saturday.
