Obituary of Martha Hoober

Bloomington-Martha E. Hoober, 90 of Bloomington and formerly of Bedford, passed away at 12:35 P.M. Friday, February 17th at Bell Trace in Bloomington, IN Born on January 31, 1916 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Emery Rosenbaum and Grace (Jeans) Rosenbaum. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford. She was married to Lloyd D. Gossman and C. Henry Hoober both of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters: Rita Fortner and her husband, Ron of Bloomington and Shirley Hutton and her husband, Vernon of Westchester, OH; six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, one sister: Dorothy Gregory of Bedford, IN and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and one sister: Ruth Rosenbaum. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 20th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownstown Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour.
