For Bud's family and friends: Bud's smiling face in the picture posted here reminds me of why we all liked so much in high school. He always had the happy smile and a quiet but mischievous personality. I haven't seen him more than a handful of times in 48 years, but seeing his picture and remembering him today brought back a lot of good memories. If you haven't done so already, I encourage you to do a Google search for "VA-152". You'll find some interesting postings about the unit and a few pictures of Bud. I was surprised that between the time I looked at the pictures a few hours earlier today and again a few minutes ago, someone had updated the pictures with his date of birth and date of passing. That act and the postings from VA-152 friends cause me to believe that his Navy shipmates respected him as much as his home town friends do. I'm very sorry for your loss, but I also am happy to have known Bud as a friend. Doug Fish
