Obituary of Maude Verna Shipwash

Bedford Maude Verna Shipwash, 87, of Bedford, formerly of Bloomington, died at 2:30 am on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at I. U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born February 4, 1925 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Harry and Jenny (Brinegar) Shipwash. She retired from RCA and was a member of the Bloomington Northwest Jehovahs Witness Congregation. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Maxine Shipwash of Springville; four grandchildren, Christopher Rogers of VA, Amber Lyn of PA, Jason Alan Hearth of Bloomington and Harry Shipwash of Bedford; a sister, Vivian Shipwash of Bloomington; several great grandchildren; three nephews, Dan Leach and Patrick Croxton both of Bedford and David Leach of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Rose Sharon Croxton; a son, Kenneth Shipwash; a daughter, Amy Rogers. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 14th at New Church Cemetery in Fayetteville with Ralf Langwald officiating. No visitation hours are scheduled.
