Brenda and Susie and families, I was so sorry to hear of Gladys' passing. I was on vacation and when I went to Stonebridge and went by that room---I just knew and my heart went out to all of you. You have done the most that any loving daughter could do and that is to be there when she needed you. I will miss seeing you and please know that my prayers are with you.
Fondly

My prayers to each of you upon the passing of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, one of the kindest, sweetest women I have ever known. I was fortunate to see her and spend some time with her when my sister Wilma passed away a few years ago, she was as beautiful as I remembered her.

We will miss Gladys, we loved her so much as a friend and a neighbor. She was so much fun to be around. Our lives have been blessed. I know that she is rejoicing with all the others that have gone on before her.

Yes, Mrs. Sargent was one of those "tough" teachers who made the kids learn. She was also one of the first in line when it was time to encourage a child or to make them feel better. Gladys was one of the most loyal "alumni" we had in that she attended every alumni banquet, helped at the fund raisers and dearly enjoyed seeing her students again. She also played a mean game of bridge! We will miss her greatly.

Mrs. Sargent was my 4th grade teacher and I loved her as my teacher. She was kinda stern, but in a loving, caring way. I had great respect for her and she always recognized me all these yrs. later when I ran into her shopping. I'm sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Sargent was my teacher when I was in the fourth grade at Needmore. This was a split class with the fifth grade. I recall her letting me take the fifth grade spelling tests just for fun. She was one of my favorites. My condolences to all of you.

Georgeann, Brenda, and Susie, I was sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I enjoyed being in her class at Needmore in the 3rd and 4th grades. I still have vivid memories of times in her class during those years. I was also fortunate in visiting with her many times at Avoca Baptist Church. I know this is a difficult time for you, and my family will be holding yours up in prayer. She was a lovely lady.

Mrs Sargent was my 4th grade teacher at Needmore. I remember all of the kids saying how tough and mean that she was, I found this to be absolutely opposite. Although she was strict, she was very fair and I came to consider her one of my favorite teachers. Great ladies like her will be greatly missed. May God Bless the family and this time.
