Obituary of Yvonne Louise Sandefur

Bedford Yvonne Louise Sandefur, 74, of Bedford, died at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born January 2, 1935, in Boswell, IN, she was the daughter of Rev. E. D and Mariene (Denbo) Riggs. She married Robert Max Sandefur on December 18, 1958 and he survives. She was a homemaker and attended the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. Survivors include her husband, Max of Bedford; three daughters, Tracy Elliott and her husband, Doug, Nancy Sherfick and her husband, Dan all of Bedford, Lori Rector and her husband, Lon of Saline City, IN; four grandsons, Logan Rector, Mason Sherfick, Joshua Elliott and Seth Sherfick; one sister, Deidra Pitman of Lafayette; three brothers, Dr. Donald E. Riggs of Greenwood, David Riggs of Oolitic and John Wilford Riggs of Solsberry. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 21st at the Free Methodist Church in Bedford with Pastor John Lane, Dr. Donald Riggs, Pastor Dave Colgan and Pastor Lon Rector officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, January 21st at the Free Methodist Church.
