Obituary of Martha Maxine Sampson

Bedford Martha Maxine Sampson, 87, of Bedford, died at 11:15 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at her sons residence. Born August 3, 1925, she was the daughter of Eli Preston and Mahala Jane (McClintock) Pavey. She married Cleo Sampson on November 29, 1946 and he precedes her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Diana Reynolds and husband Rick of Bedford; a son, Jesse Sampson and wife Judy of Bedford; a sister, Mary Lake of Omaha, Nebraska; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and nine siblings. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 28th at the Day& Carter Mortuary.
