Obituary of Rose Elaine Runyan

Bedford Rose Elaine Runyan, 58, of Bedford, passed into the loving hands of God at 10:37 pm at her residence on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Born April 28, 1949 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Ray and Pauline Allen. She married Dearl David Runyan and he survives. She was a member and employee of the Bedford Boat and Sportsmans Club and a member of the American Legion. She loved golf, Nascar, travel and being with good friends. Surviving with her husband, Dearl David Runyan, are two daughters, Ashley Runyan of Bedford and Tracey Connaughton (Beasley) of Bloomington; one daughter-in-law, Heather Beasley of Bedford; two sons, Troy Beasley of Bedford and Trent Beasley of Bloomington; one son-in-law, Paul Connaughton of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Lindsey Johnson, Zachary Johnson and Clara Beasley. She was preceded in death by her parents, two step-daughters, Lisa and Leslie Runyan; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Betty Runyan; aunt and uncle, Chet and Wilma Gould and other extended family members. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 9th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Haurersperger officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
