Obituary of Janna Jo Roman
Bloomington Janna Jo (Hague) Roman, 58, of 1046 E. Maxwell Lane, Bloomington, died at 10:49 am on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at I.U. Hospice House in Bloomington following a lengthy illness.
Born May 13, 1954 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Charles and Vivian (Pace) Hague. She married Pedro Maroto Y. Roman on June 16, 2000 and he survives. She retired as a federal employee from the Department of Defense at NWSC Crane in 2000. She was a graduate of the Shawswick High School and received her Masters degree in Public Administration from I.U.P.U.I. She was the former owner of the Indiana Flower Shop in Bedford and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Pedro, of Bloomington; a sister, Connie (Hague) Gorgas and husband, Marty; step-father, James Cuddy of Bloomington; Professor Sandrine Roux of Bloomington; step-children, Mathew and Janna McGee of Bloomington; nephews, Jeremy Smith (Jenny) of Illinois, Josh Smith (Ashley) of Indiana; two aunts, Irrus Haley and Myra Hague both of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 9th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
