Obituary of Kenneth Raymond Rogers

Bedford Kenneth Raymond Rogers, 73, of Bedford, died at 12:45 am on Monday, November 24, 2003 at the Hospitality House in Bedford. Born May 4, 1930 in East Oolitic, he was the son of Clovis and Thelma (Hillenberg) Rogers. He married Lorena Dolly Burch of July 5, 1969 and she died October 23, 1998. He was employed at General Motors in Bedford retiring in 1993. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Bedford, V.F.W. and U.A.W. Local #440. Survivors include one step-daughter, Jenny Ehrlich of Castleton, NY; five sisters, Connie Mathis, Lana Chenault and Linda Tumey all of Bedford, Carolyn Beal of Bloomington and Eldena Lagle of Tennessee and one step-granddaughter, Rebecca Ehrlich of New York. He was preceded in death by his father, wife and one brother, James Rogers. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 29th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. John Dodd and Rev. Glen Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, November 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Pallbearers are Kenny Chenault, David Stansbury, Harold Tumey, Jody Tumey, Jack Beal, Tony Beal, Brian Guthrie, Alan Cirillo and Kyle Stansbury.
