Obituary of Robert Lloyd Robertson

Switz CityRobert Lloyd Robinson, 61, of Switz City, passed away at 5:01 AM Saturday, June 26th in the Greene County Hospital. Born October 12, 1942 in Bloomington, IN he was the son of Joseph Forrest Robinson and Helen Lorraine (McGriffin) Robinson. He was a retired school bus driver and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he served as an Elder in the church. He was an Air Force Veteran and enjoyed Nascar. Surviving is his wife, Gail Ann Hollowell of Switz City, whom he married on September 11, 1971 in Bedford. Surviving with his wife is one daughter: Lyssa Jo Pferrer of Lyons, IN five grandchildren: Ann Marie, William Robert, Patricia Lorraine, Joseph Richard and Christina Joy; one brother: Thomas B. Robinson of Puyallup, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 30th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Jerome Gootee officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 29th from 3:00 until 8:00 PM at Day & Carter Mortuary and at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 until the hour of service.
