Obituary of Martha I. Ritter

Bedford, IN-Martha I. Ritter, 90, of Bedford passed away at 2:30 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born March 13, 1922 in Lawrence County she was the daughter of Fred and Ethyl (Owen) LuAllen. She married Ervin (Bud) Ritter on December 3, 1945 and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1974. She was a member of Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene. Martha retired from the North Lawrence School System where she worked as a cook. Survivors include two sons: Ronnie Ritter and his wife, Janet, and Gary Ritter and his wife, Anita all of Bedford; 4 grandchildren, Trina Hanner and husband, Doug of Kurtz, IN, Stacy Robison of Lutz, FL, Matthew Ritter and wife, Andrea of Bedford, Heather Moore and husband, Matthew of Bridgeport, IL; 8 great grandchildren, Abby Hanner, Emmitt Hanner, Chandler Robison, Owen Robison, Madelyn Ritter, Braden Ritter, Tayler Moore and Isaiah Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, 3 sisters, Mae Bartlett, Chloe Covey, Mary Turner (her twin) and a brother, George LuAllen Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 21st at the Valley Mission Church with Pastor Duane Boady, Pastor Matthew Moore and Pastor Doug Hanner officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 20th at the Valley Mission Church.
