Obituary of Mary R. Ritchie

Bedford Mary R. Ritchie, 81, of Bedford, IN, died at 2:30 am on Friday, February 13, 2004 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born March 2, 1922 in Oolitic, she was the daughter of Lenzie L. and Lucie M. (Flynn) Carter. She married Ott (Buck) E. Ritchie on March 4, 1939 and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and attended Grace Full Gospel Church. Survivors include one son, Michael Ritchie; two daughters, Joyce McCain and Judith Roberts all of Bedford; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, Michelle Stroud; one brother, Bill Carter; two sisters, Izetta King and Sarah Moffatt. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 16th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Brent ONeal officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 15th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
