Obituary of Wilma J. Riggle

Bedford Wilma J. Riggle, 85, a resident of the Bliss House in Bedford, died at September 21, 2006 at StoneBridge Health Campus. Born May 14, 1921, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Cloyd and Marie (Worak) Trisler. She married Harry L. Riggle on March 14, 1970 and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1988. She had worked at the Wells Dress Shop in Bedford and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #129 in Bedford. Survivors include one step-daughter, Madlyn Sullivan and her husband, Frank of Bedford; two grandchildren, Brad Fields and Amy Goodman and her husband, Tony; one great grandson, Zachary Goodman; one half-sister, Berniece Floyd of Rockville, IN; three nieces, Mandy Malony of Tennessee, Deidra Pittsinger of Ohio and Denise Farr of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Eleanor Miller and one brother, Robert Spires. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 23rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kendall Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
