Obituary of Ruth Manzenberger
Bedford Ruth Manzenberger, 90, of 89 Barrett Lane, Bedford, IN, died at 9:44 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford.
Born March 29, 1914 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Paris and Oma (Holsapple) May. She married William F. Manzenberger on July 2, 1931 and he died June 14, 1987. She was a homemaker and seamstress and had worked at RCA in Bloomington. She was a member of Guthrie Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Michael Manzenberger and his wife, Janet of Springville; three daughters, Carolyn Byrd and her husband, Preston and Jean Sims all of Bedford, Phyllis Root and her husband, James of Spencer; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Bill and Perry May; two sisters, Geneva Bartlett and Gladys Smith, son-in-law, Norman Sims and one great grandson. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at11:00 am on Saturday, February 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Josh Brumfield and George Sites officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Run Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
