Obituary of Thelma E. Breedlove
Norman Thelma E. (Fish) Breedlove, 85, of Norman, IN, died at 11:45 am on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at Dunn Memorial Hosptial.
Born August 2, 1919 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of James and Lena (Stipp) Cummings. She married Fred Fish in July of 1934 and he died in 1967. She later married Ira Breedlove on May 6, 1972 and he died in December of 1989. She was a homemaker and was employed at NSWC CRANE for a short time. She was a member of the Mundell Christian Church, the Norman Conservation Club and the Flatwood Neighbors Club. She loved bluegrass music and spending time with all her family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Susie Bailey of Bedford; one son, David Fish and his wife, Donna of Bedford; a daughter-in-law, Kay Fish of Springville; ten grandchildren, Linda Poole and her husband, Wayne of Columbus, Sharon Montgomery and her husband, Mike of Columbus, Clint Fish and his wife, Tonya of Bloomington, Christy Seville and her husband, Keith of Florida, Darin Fish and his wife, Danielle of Bedford, Kortni Fish of Bedford, Jason Bailey and his wife, Wendy of Bedford and Jared Bailey of Bedford, Tonya Bunch and her husband, Kevin of Mitchell and Tammy Martindale of Georgia; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Bob Cummings of Seymour; one sister, Mabel Gulley of Winchester; several nieces and nephews and her caretaker, Shirley Hamilton of Norman. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sons, Alfred and Ronn Fish, three brothers, Ralph, George and Cecil Cummings, three sisters, Alma Hughes, Gladys Jones and Mary Prewitt, one daughter-in-law, Louise Fish, one son-in-law, Denny Bailey and one grandchild, Allen Fish. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 9th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor John Wisley officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Norman. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 8th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
